The Role:
You will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that vendor relationships are maintained and our books are accurate. This is a high-impact role where your attention to detail will directly contribute to the company's financial health.
Responsibilities
- Process and code high volumes of invoices (A/P) with 100% accuracy, ensuring they comply with company policies and vendor contracts.
- Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly AP reports to management.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all accounts payable documentation.
- Communicate directly with vendors regarding billing questions, invoice status, and payment schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reversing entries.
- Utilize ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) to track expenditures and generate necessary reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an Accounts Payable or General Ledger role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with ERP accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or BlackLine) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot errors and resolve them without supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor interactions.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
