Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns under supervision
- Organize and analyze financial documents for accuracy and compliance
- Utilize tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar) for return preparation
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation
- Assist with tax research and basic tax planning strategies
- Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of tax or accounting experience (new graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Quick learner with ability to grasp complex tax concepts
- Valid Florida driver's license for occasional client visits
