Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Support payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Implement efficient bookkeeping workflows and process improvements
- Communicate financial insights clearly to cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (accounting degree preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to learn accounting software quickly (training provided)
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must reside in Louisville, KY or surrounding area
