As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and transaction categorization.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Support the month-end closing process by gathering necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP, debits/credits).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
