Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial documentation and filing systems.
- Assist with payroll processing, including data entry and tax document preparation.
- Perform general clerical accounting duties as needed to support the finance department.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
