Responsibilities
- Process and manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the preparation and posting of monthly journal entries and financial reports.
- Organize and maintain accurate digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Prepare and send out invoices to clients and vendors in a timely manner.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under the supervision of senior staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., debit/credit, GAAP) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
