Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process invoices, bills, and payroll records with a high degree of precision.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Organize and maintain financial records, ledgers, and databases.
- Support the accounting team with month-end closing procedures and tax preparation assistance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or finance role (or relevant internship experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently in a team setting.
