Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles using QuickBooks Online
- Process payroll bi-weekly and maintain employee records
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
- Assist with sales tax filings and compliance documentation
- Support audit preparation with organized record-keeping
- Collaborate with tax team during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
