Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Prepare financial reports including balance sheets and income statements
- Utilize QuickBooks and Xero for transaction recording and analysis
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Support tax documentation and quarterly reporting processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- 1+ years of internship or part-time bookkeeping experience preferred
- QuickBooks certification a plus
