Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and budget preparation
- Support payroll processing and tax documentation filing
- Implement digital bookkeeping systems using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Philadelphia residency preferred (not required)
