Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate general ledgers, accounts payable, and receivable records
- Process financial transactions including expenses, revenues, and payroll entries
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and subsidiary accounts monthly
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports
- Manage vendor invoices, payment processing, and expense tracking systems
- Support quarterly VAT returns and annual tax preparation processes
- Utilize QuickBooks and Xero software for daily bookkeeping operations
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and compliance
Qualifications
- Recent accounting/finance graduate or 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP/UK GAAP)
