Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper coding
- Manage payment processing including check runs and ACH transactions
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers
- Assist with month-end closing activities and accruals
- Resolve vendor inquiries and payment discrepancies
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams
- Implement process improvements for efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounts payable experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- High typing speed (45+ WPM) and 10-key proficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
