Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile purchase orders and resolve payment discrepancies
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial records
- Execute timely ACH/wire transfers and check payments
- Support month-end closing procedures with journal entries
- Collaborate with procurement team on vendor inquiries
- Assist in implementing new AP automation systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Strong communication skills for vendor interactions
- Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks/SAP preferred)
