Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and general ledger accounts.
- Perform daily data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Support the senior accounting team during audits and tax season.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices efficiently.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems, both digital and physical.
- Assist with basic budget preparation and expense tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for team meetings.
