In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in general accounting functions, supporting the month-end close process, and ensuring data accuracy across our financial systems. Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing adjusting entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including trial balances and income statements.
- Support the external audit process by gathering documentation and answering auditor inquiries.
- Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger and expense reporting systems.
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency in accounting operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Recent graduate or 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software.
- Candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA certification or active pursuit thereof is a significant plus.
