Responsibilities
- Assist with Daily Operations: Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable departments with data entry and processing invoices.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Document Management: Organize, file, and maintain financial records, receipts, and tax documents.
- Month-End Close: Assist the senior accounting team with preparing trial balances and adjusting entries.
- Reporting: Generate basic financial reports and assist in preparing payroll documentation.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing inquiries and ensure timely payments.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred but not mandatory.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for mathematics and exceptional attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to learn new accounting software and processes quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time during business hours.
