Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in the accurate processing and recording of invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- General Ledger Support: Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate financial records in our accounting software.
- Month-End Close: Support the accounting department with the preparation of monthly financial reports and adjusting entries.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Document Management: Organize and file financial documents, contracts, and receipts in an orderly manner.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience: No prior professional experience required. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (vlookup, pivot tables are a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with team members and clients.
