Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and support monthly financial reports.
- Support the finance team with accurate data entry and document organization.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll documentation and tax filings under supervision.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial records.
- Identify discrepancies in financial data and report findings to senior staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Basic computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn new accounting software and financial processes.
