We are seeking a motivated Entry Level Accountant to join our growing team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. What You’ll Do
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end close procedures by preparing journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist with the preparation of federal and state tax filings, including W-2s and 1099s.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
