Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify payments, and manage customer billing cycles accurately.
- Financial Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records in our accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel) with a high degree of precision.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
- Support Financial Reporting: Assist the senior team in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports.
- Document Management: Organize and file physical and digital financial documents, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- General Accounting Support: Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks and assist in the preparation of tax documents under supervision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (familiarity with Pivot Tables is a plus).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies and ensure accuracy in all data entry tasks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Integrity: High level of professionalism and ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information.
