We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our growing finance team in San Antonio, Texas. Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Generate financial reports and analyze variances to assist management in decision-making.
- Support the tax team with the collection of necessary documentation and data entry.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
- Assist in the audit preparation process and respond to auditor inquiries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
