What You’ll Do:
As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will assist our senior team with daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will be trained on industry-standard software and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and basic tax filings (1099s, W-2s).
- Perform data entry and reconciliation of financial data in accounting software.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- No prior accounting experience required. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, such as debits, credits, and general ledger functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
