Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and journal entries.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices efficiently.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including trial balances and income statements.
- Assist with audits and tax return preparation under supervision.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to track financial data accurately.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
