As an Entry Level Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting our diverse client portfolio. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and review accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records using our accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Conduct data entry and generate standard financial reports for management review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
