Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with high accuracy.
- Process payroll information and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with internal and external audits as required.
- Organize and file financial documentation and records.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role, internship, or related academic background.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting principles (GAAP) and general ledger functions.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
