Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll transactions
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support internal audits by maintaining organized financial documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/Oracle) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships acceptable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial terminology
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Effective communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Certification progress (CPA/CMA) highly valued
- US work authorization and background check clearance
