Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process by collecting and organizing financial data.
- Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger and ensure all entries are recorded accurately.
- Prepare and analyze basic financial reports and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
