Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and monthly financial statements.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, adjustments, and journal entries.
- Conduct routine audits of financial documents to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of various tax documents and reports under the guidance of senior staff.
- Perform general clerical accounting functions, including filing, data entry, and maintaining spreadsheets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
