Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare basic financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.
- Maintain and organize financial documents and filing systems.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and tax documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks or SAP).
- Attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial data.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
