Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor relationships
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation activities
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory compliance documentation
- Support audit preparation and internal control implementation
- Utilize QuickBooks and accounting software for transaction recording
- Conduct data analysis to identify financial trends and anomalies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant internship or academic project experience preferred
- CPA candidate or pursuit of accounting certification a plus
