Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with tax preparation processes and maintain organized client documentation
- Perform accounts payable/receivable functions and bank reconciliations
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for financial data management and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial planning and forecasting
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare month-end closing reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting software proficiency
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
- QuickBooks experience preferred but not required
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
