Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable and transaction reconciliation
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee expense records
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry, reporting, and analysis
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory adherence
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent coursework)
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks software
