Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with audit fieldwork, including documentation testing and substantive procedures
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank accounts
- Support tax preparation activities including data entry and documentation assembly
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing
- Adhere to GAAP and regulatory compliance standards in all financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory requirements
- Proactive problem-solving approach with ability to meet deadlines
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or academic experience preferred
