Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation
- Perform account reconciliations for cash, accounts receivable, and payable
- Support tax compliance activities including documentation and filing
- Process payroll and maintain employee expense reports
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and trends
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Certification progress (CPA/CMA) preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
