Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for small-to-medium businesses
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and bank reconciliations
- Support tax preparation and compliance documentation for individual and corporate clients
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial databases using QuickBooks
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparation and internal control reviews
- Respond to client inquiries regarding financial reports and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks/Accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to pursue CPA certification (company support provided)
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license for occasional client visits
