Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and SAP accounting systems
- Support tax preparation activities and ensure compliance with IRS regulations
- Conduct internal audits to identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget analysis and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping or relevant internship
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software applications
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for client interactions
- CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification preferred
