Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations
- Maintain digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare bank reconciliations and variance analysis reports
- Support tax preparation documentation for individual clients
- Conduct data entry with strict attention to GAAP standards
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit readiness tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or 60+ credits with relevant experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years of internship or part-time accounting experience preferred
