Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
- Support tax preparation and compliance for individual and corporate clients
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor relationships
- Contribute to internal audit procedures and regulatory filings
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and regulatory standards
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- QuickBooks or ERP software experience preferred
- Certification (CPA, CMA) or progress toward certification a plus
