Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Support tax preparation activities including documentation gathering and compliance checks
- Perform account reconciliations for general ledger accounts and bank statements
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives to enhance financial controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
- Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving approach and willingness to learn new systems
