Responsibilities
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles including invoice processing and payment verification
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain accurate financial records
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with senior team members on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (CPA candidate) preferred
