Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by gathering documentation and maintaining organized financial records
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communication
- Contribute to tax compliance documentation and quarterly reporting initiatives
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification
