Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance filings
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate documentation
- Support audits by gathering financial data and preparing supporting schedules
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting cycles
- Exceptional attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
