Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures under supervision
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for client reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data entry, analysis, and reporting
- Conduct account reconciliations and identify discrepancies for resolution
- Support tax preparation activities and maintain organized financial records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with basic formula knowledge
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
