Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile monthly financial transactions including accounts payable/receivable and bank statements
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and account analysis
- Collaborate with audit teams during internal and external examinations
- Maintain organized financial records using QuickBooks and Excel-based systems
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting workflows
- Document financial procedures and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience in data analysis and reporting
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred)
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving approach with collaborative mindset
