Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation under supervision
- Conduct data entry in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Support audits by providing documentation and financial data
- Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (recent graduates welcome)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- QuickBooks or similar accounting software exposure preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
