Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account analysis
- Support month-end closing procedures and journal entry preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial modeling
- Prepare sales tax filings and assist with audit documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial controls
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- QuickBooks certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
