Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and invoice verification
- Prepare financial statements and draft audit schedules
- Contribute to quarterly tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation
- Support month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel essential)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
