Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledgers
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct account reconciliations for bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
- Support financial statement preparation and analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant coursework in financial accounting or CPA exam progress preferred
