Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and vendor management
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for client reviews
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Support audit preparation and documentation requests
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) for transaction recording
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- CPA candidate or pursuing CPA certification preferred
