Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Perform data entry and reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable
- Support audit processes by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for transaction processing
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare basic financial reports
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or related field)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internships accepted)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Valid US work authorization required
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems preferred
